Founded in 1904, we are the largest and oldest professional engineering fraternity in the nation and encompass all disciplines of engineering. The University of Arizona has hosted Chi Chapter of Theta Tau since 1930. In seventy-six years our chapter has initiated more than 1,000 engineering students who join the more than 30,000 Theta Tau alumni worldwide.
Theta Tau differs from other greek organizations. It combines the desirable features of general fraternities, technical societies, and honor societies to prepare its student members for the engineering profession. The men and women of Theta Tau share a common bond: an interest in and pursuance of engineering in its various branches.
