National Student Speech Language Hearing Association

- University of Arizona Chapter -

NSSLHA stands for the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. NSSLHA operates as an indpendent organization and is recognized by the discipline's professional association, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as the organization for students interested in human communication sciences and disorders. It was created because of student's desires for closer affiliation with professionals in the discipline of human communication sciences and disorders. NSSLHA exists at both a national and local level. NSSLHA members perform community service, promote advocacy, further their education by attending guest lectures and regional, state, and national conferences, and contribute to charitable agencies. Current NSSLHA members are especially proud to be involved in national NSSLHA's charitable campaign, NSSLHA Loves.
