The Banquet
Just as we did last year, we plan on opening this year's conference by breaking bread together. The banquet is included in your delegate fees and, yes, we accommodate vegetarians.
The Delegate Dance
Friday night is the Delegate Dance! A great opportunity to socialized with other delegates (and your staff members) in a informal setting, the dance is also a great time to meet delegates in other committees. Seeing as 2008 is an Olympic year, the theme for this year's dance will be Beijing 2008! Come representing your favorite country, favorite Olympic sport or Beijing itself!
Spanish Language Committees
This year we will continue our OAS committee simulation. Practice your diplomacy and our language skills!

Check the Arizona Model United Nations website starting Nov. 1st for study guides to help you in your research and preparation for conference.
Historical Simulation
This all-veteran committee will, for the first time, work to write a treaty for a lasting peace after the Great War as they take on real personalities and simulate the Paris Peace Conference of 1919.
Regional Body Simulation
For the first time, we will be simulating a meeting of the Arab League!
Specialized Spanish-Language Committee
Because our OAS simulation was so popular last year, we will also offer and small specialized Spanish-language committee simulating a meeting of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization. This small double-delegated committee will offer delegates an experience which should differ greatly from the large OAS simulation.
