Ride Schedule
Last updated: 4.18.08

Matt's Friday afternoon cruise
Meets at 2:30pm at the flagpole in front of Old Main. Generally about 1.5 hours at an easy to moderate pace.

Other club rides will be sent around via the listserve, or you can invite the club by sending around your own ride.

Tuesday night community fun ride
If you don't know, now you know: every Tuesday around (a bit after) 8pm at the flagpole on campus. It's been called a "critical mass," it's power-structure has been called into question, but whatever else it is, it certainly is a good time. Anyone with a bike, or unicycle, or even a scooter should have no trouble keeping up with this "social" ride.

THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA CYCLING CLUB IS IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE TUESDAY NIGHT RIDE. WE DO NOT ENDORSE NOR CONDONE CYCLISTS VIOLATING TRAFFIC LAWS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

All UA rides leave from the flagpole/Old Main unless otherwise noted

Some fast-paced non-UA road rides can be found here.
Note: The rides listed leave at 6:15am (check with Fair Wheel Bikes to be sure) from in front of Starbucks

Team Description Added 09.01.05
The University of Arizona Cycling Team is an elite group of cycling enthusiasts who attend the University of Arizona on a full time basis. Since its inception in the 1970s, each member of the team has actively pursued their education at the University as well as their physical limits on the road, track, and in the dirt. The team has been recognized and receives support from the University, as well as many other areas in the Tucson community. In its current form, the team boasts over 50 members from a wide variety of educational disciplines and interests. However, each member is brought together by their passion for the sport of cycling and their drive to excel. The club's main activities include weekly club rides in the Tucson and surrounding area, club meetings and social events, winter training (indoor trainer rides and weight lifting), bike maintenance classes, skills workshops, sports nutrition and sport psychology lectures, and of course competition in the Southwestern Collegiate Cycling Conference.
