- If you are interested in being a member buddy, please contact Danette Schwartz at danettes@email.arizona.edu.
- Y.E.S. – Youth Experiencing Service
- We were awarded a Tomorrow Fund Grant at International Convention for $1000 to put on a youth service day on campus this year with our community partners and middle school students from all over Tucson.
- We elected an 11-person committee for this project. The co-chairs are Korrina Duffy and Adam Rubin. Congratulations and good luck to all of the committee members!
- Dues
- In order to be recognized as a member of CKI and to participate in our events, you must pay your dues. Dues go to the district and international levels of CKI and provide you with insurance in case you get hurt at an event. You will also receive a membership card, pin, and handbook. We will be holding an official induction ceremony for dues-paid members later this fall.
- Dues will be due on September 19. Dues are $28 if you pay by next week’s meeting and $33 dollars after that. If for any reason you cannot pay your dues, do not give up on CKI! If you cannot attend meetings, please contact Danette Schwartz at danettes@email.arizona.edu or Jordan Eells at jeells@email.arizona.edu to make an appointment to pay your dues!
- Fall Rally – Jennifer Phillips
- Each fall, CKI members are invited to attend Fall Rally, a district event that takes place at Kamp Kiwanis in Vanderwagon, New Mexico. This year it will be held from Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21. If you are interested in going, the cost will be $45 dollars.
