Deutscher Studenten Club

MEETING INFORMATION

Club meetings are held every week at 5:30 p.m. in Social Sciences room 132.

Meetings last for about 20 minutes and are conducted in English.

During meetings we brainstorm, plan events and chat. Sometimes we listen to music or watch movies.

If you have any ideas for club activities please feel free to submit them at meetings or e-mail them to the president if you can't make it to meetings.  

STAMMTISCH

Stammtisch is our weekly social get-together, where we eat, drink and get to know one another. Most people speak in German, but there is also plenty of English conversation.

We meet every for Stammtisch every Thursday at 6 p.m. at Frog & Firkin, 847 E. University Blvd.

Look for us at a table on the patio. We usually have the Stammtischschild hanging up. If you don't see it, listen for people speaking in German, or look for a large group of people and just ask if they are there for Stammtisch. You can also ask the wait staff if you're shy. If there is no sign of DSC Stammtisch inside or outside of Frog & Firkin, try looking for the group across the street at Gentle Ben's. We sometimes have to move if Frog is too busy.

Stammtisch lasts as long as you want it to; people come and go throughout the evening. We are there during happy hour, so the food and drink specials are a good deal.
