Club Mission

Welcome!

NAMI-UA is a student-run, student-led organization that provides mental health support, education, and advocacy at the University of Arizona. With the leadership of college students, the group is designed to engage and educate campus communities about an issue that merits serious attention, mental illness. NAMI-UA is dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life of all whose lives are affected by mental illness as well as support and treatment. With student, faculty, and community support we continue to fight the stigma associated with mental illness.

NAMI-UA is campus based but associated with the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization, NAMI. Nami was founded in 1979 and has since then spread across the country becoming the top voice for mental illness today. For more information about NAMI or NAMISA, NAMI of Southern Arizona, visit http://www.namisa.org/ and http://www.nami.org/
