Prospective Members


Membership is a worthy distinction in itself, and as a measure of academic achievement can provide a tangible advantage in a competitive world.  To be eligible to join Pi Sigma Alpha, you must be majoring or minoring in political science, you must have a 3.0 average both overall and in your political science courses, and you need to have taken at least 10 hours of coursework in political science, with at least one course qualifying as upper division (300 level or higher).

To join, students must provide their up-to-date, unofficial transcript to the chapter advisor, Prof. Jim Todd, 305 Social Sciences, and are required to pay a $30 initiation fee to the national office and annual dues of $15 a semester to the local chapter.
