The mission of the Arizona Surgery Club is to enhance the care of surgical patients and actively promote
patient safety through programs and products that effectively address the needs of medical students,
pre-health undergraduate students, surgical patients, and the public.
The objectives of this organization are as follows:
a. To promote interest in the science, culture, and profession of surgery.
b. To provide fellowship among pre-health students, medical students, and surgical faculty.
c. To represent student needs and wants in regard to training in the profession and culture of surgery.
d. To provide a forum of innovative ideas to benefit the University and College of Medicine community.
