Hi, My name is Marcus DiMarco and I am a Junior at the U of A majoring in Nutrition. The Lord has really blessed me with the opportunity to be the vice president of Wildcats for Christ this year. This club has really been a blessing to my life, and I see the Lord using it in an awesome way to reach out to students and build service and fellowship between Christians. I became a Christian a little over a year ago. Before I was a Christian, I tried to find truth in many different things, all of them leaving me with an emptiness inside. It seemed that I was probably never going to find out the truth about life and what's behind it and what’s after it until I died. I thought Jesus was a great man and a prophet so I was reading the New Testament. I started doing bible studies and going to church, and started understanding the meaning of Jesus' quotes such as “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the father but through Me.” I knew I needed to give my life to Jesus, but confused lying voices came into my mind to stop me in my tracks several times. Finally I met one of my friends that I used to party with and I saw he was a new man. He said he just became a Christian two weeks before and I was amazed. His testimony disproved all the lies in my mind, and I repented for my sins and gave my entire life to Christ right then. I finally found the truth I was looking for and the ability in Christ to lead a life pleasing to God. I will praise him every day of my life.
