As some of you have heard, Scorch was disqualified from the 2009 College Series due to some late registration paperwork. We did try to appeal the rule, but it was too late for the UPA to change a
Scorch is the official Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Club of the University of Arizona. We are one of the teams in the Southwest Region of the Ultimate Players Association (UPA). We travel to a couple of preseason tournaments in the Fall which help us prepare for the official season in Spring. In Spring, we travel a lot more. For the 08-09 season, we played in San Diego, Santa Barbara, Stanford, and Texas, but we travel to different tournaments every year.

Our Ultimate family doesn’t stop at Scorch. We also have our brothers on Sunburn. Scorch and Sunburn often travel to the same tournaments and have created an amazing bond over the years.
