Julie "Mouth" Pautsch
I started playing ultimate immediately following high school and my love started then. I played with boys though and they never threw it to me so I didn't learn anything. Boys suck.. bleh! In spring 2005, after some amazing recruiting by my Scorchers and some coaxing by one of the many Sunburn players I flirted with, I joined Scorch just in time for the college series. It was amazing. I met so many amazing people being a part of the ultimate team and can safely say that playing frisbee was the best decision I made while in college. During my time on the team, I learned so much about disc, teamwork and how to best ride a pizza box down a hill.
Currently, I live in Seattle and I'm trying to bust into the amazing ultimate scene here. It's great how much disc happens here but I have to play coed... yuck. I am hoping to go to law school in 2007 where I may defect and play on a different college team for my two remaining years of eligibility. Scorch will always be my first team and heck I may get that Scorch tattoo on my ass with Thirsty after all if I ever get back to Tucson.
