a life story in one short paragraph ..... well, i'll give it a try. i grew up going to church, yet not really understanding that i could have a personal relationship with God. in high school and college, i drifted from church and had fun going to parties, drinking, and living for myself. i was a freshman in college when everything that i valued and deemed important up to that point seemed empty, shallow, and superficial. i began realizing that a college degree, success, and stability were not going to answer the deeper needs that my heart was longing for. it was on at college in '92 that i surrendered my heart and life to Christ. the peace, joy and forgiveness i received that March day from Christ were indescribable. my life was changed!!! since graduating from college, i have devoted my life up to this point working with college students endeavoring to share the hope and peace i have found in Christ. one of the many things i love about ministry is watching God work supernaturally in the lives of students i work with. i can't express how rewarding and fulfilling it is to see God change lives. two of my life scriptures that i hold close to my heart are found in Proverbs 3:5-6 and Philippians 1:6. In my free time, i often find myself devoted to anything involving working with my hands from carpentry and construction to landscaping. i love seeing the potential in something and then seeing it transform right before my eyes.
