UA-PBL Chapter Member ProfilesCrystle AlavezCrystle is an undecided sophomore at the UofA who aspires to be successful and independent. Among her favorite hobbies are running and reading. In FBLA she took 1st place and 2nd place consecutively in Emerging Business Issues. She also took 1st place for Pertnership with Business in 2002 at the state level. Daniel Gust - VP ActivitiesChris is an Economics Sophomore at the UofA. Chris HilkerChris is a Regional Development Senior with a minor in business at the UofA. When he graduates he wants to be a commercial real estate broker. His two favorite hobbies are playing the guitar in a rock band and playing basketball. Last year he took 3rd place in Business Communications at the state level. Jeff HohlJeff is a Marketing Senior at the UofA. After he graduates he intends to go into a marketing career and go to law school. In his free time he enjoys playing the guitar and sports. Peter Layshock - VP AdministrationPeter Layshock is a Business Economics senior. He currently works part time at Vail High School, where he teaches Business Technology and co-advises the local FBLA chapter. In PBL, he has received national awards for Business Decision Making, Human Resources & Ethics, Sports Marketing, and Network Design. In his free time, Peter enjoys golf, cooking, learning Dutch, reading, and long walks on the beach. Aaron McKenny - WebmasterAaron is a Senior majoring in Management Information Systems, Operations Management and Entrepreneurship. Aaron enjoys playing the guitar in his free time and is currently starting the nation's first Information Technology honorary fraternity. Aaron is the President for the State of Arizona Phi Beta Lambda this year. Among his Phi Beta Lambda accomplishments are taking 1st place in the nation for Business Plan (2004), 1st place in the nation for Networking Concepts (2004), 1st place in the nation for Network Design (2003) and 2nd place in the nation for Business Decision Making (2002) Lisa MinieriLisa is a sophomore aspiring to be a Marketing, Management and perhaps Entrepreneurship major. Among Lisa's many aspirations are wanting to do well in school, and becoming involved in the business program. Lisa likes to be around people and stay active by playing sports. Kristin ParkerKristin is a Geosciences sophomore with a Business Minor. Kristin Parker enjoys showing and training horsesin her free time. Kristen was extremely involved and recognized in Gilbert FBLA and is in her fist semester in U of A Phi Beta Lambda. Sean SullivanSean is a Finance/Economics Sophomore at the UofA. After college he intends to continue on in education to obtain his MBA. At some point he wants to either own his own business or work in a financial field. Among his hobbies are ping-pong and bowling. In FBLA he placed 1st in the region and state for economics and placed in several other areas. Ahmed Junaid Suria - VP MembershipAhmed is a sophomore at the UofA and plans on being an Accounting and Finance major. Kendy Thompson - FESO RepresentativeKendy is a Senior majoring in Finance at the UofA who will one day be a financial investment planner. She enjoys basketball, movies, music and volunteering. Last year she won two statewide awards in PBL. Trina Webb - PresidentTrina Webb is currently a junior in the Eller College of Management. She is majoring in Accounting and will graduate in May of 2006 with a B.S. in Business Administration. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, Trina will pursue a Master in Accounting and become a Certified Public Accountant. Additionally, Trina is very active in PBL and is the 2004-2005 UAPBL Chapter President.
