Résumé book:
SHRM student chapter members must submit their updated résumé for the 2005-2006 school year. All members can start submitting their résumés to Kristi Allan by email (allank@email.arizona.edu) or at any club meeting. Deadline is February 21, 2006.
Becoming certified in HR!
It’s never too early to be considering the next steps in your Human Resource career. One of those next steps is passing a certification exam offered by the Human Resource Certification Institute, an affiliate of SHRM. This exam will give you professional credentials in HR, as well as, affiliate you with nearly 70,000 HR professionals. If you are interested in taking the Professional in Human Resource exam (PHR), testing window is testing window is May 1, 2006 to June 30, 2006. The deadline to sign-up is March 17, 2006. More information can be obtained from the HRCI website (http://www.hrci.org).
